Emmanuel Oladipupo Olapade is a lawyer, strategist and legal technologist, and the founder of DLE Advisory. He has close to a decade of experience working across law, technology, strategy and business advisory.

His work sits at the intersection of technology, regulation and enterprise. He spent four years building legal technology for a US software company, using automation, AI and data technologies to improve legal workflows and operational systems, while advising on Nigerian corporate and commercial matters. He has also served as centralised counsel across a listed financial services group’s ecosystem of operating businesses, advising on corporate structuring, transactions, licensing and governance across technology-enabled companies.

That combination shapes how he advises. He understands how software is actually designed, shipped and sold, how regulators assess technology-enabled products, and why those considerations increasingly need to be addressed together.

Dipupo founded DLE on a conviction formed early and tested through his work: that some of the most consequential decisions businesses make sit in the space between regulation and enterprise. Too often, legal advice is disconnected from the commercial model, while strategy is developed without sufficient regard to the regulatory environment in which it must be executed. DLE was built to close that gap and on the belief that sound regulation and thriving enterprise need not be competing objectives, but can form part of the same project.

His practice covers innovation and business strategy, digital transformation, data protection and AI governance, and corporate structuring and fundraising. He works with businesses, investors, public institutions and development organisations across Nigeria and other markets, particularly where technology, regulation and commercial strategy intersect. He holds professional certifications in European data protection, privacy technology and artificial intelligence governance.
